FAQ
How can I pay?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. We use PayPal as our payment processor, which is able to process these major credit cards securely, or you can pay using your PayPal balance. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to use your credit card. Paypal is just a tool we use to process your credit card securely, keeping your information private and safe.
Is your site secure?
Yes. You pay through PayPal, not through this site. We never see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your stuff. We get your money through PayPal later.
Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?
No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account. PayPal is just the payment processor we use for credit card transactions. You are not required to sign up for it, and can use your own credit card as normal.
When will my purchase ship?
We ship every Monday and Friday, excluding federal holidays. Shipping upgrades are available on the product page, for faster shipping and handling.
Do you ship internationally (outside the USA)?
Yes. For international shipping, please order from our Etsy store. The EU and UK require an import VAT to be collected on purchases of physical goods under €150 and £130 by all retailers at the time of purchase, before delivery. Your receipt will be attached to the outside of your package with the value of goods listed, and Etsy's Tax ID, for help with processing at customs.
If you are outside the EU or UK, you will be charged VAT / Import Taxes by your own country, and possibly a handling fee by your postal service, upon delivery of your package. Do you accept returns?
Yes, for online orders and deliveries. See our Store Policies page for rules and requirements. See our Sizing how-to for more information on how we measure our online merchandise, and how to know whether an item will fit you or not.
No, for purchases made in person at our store in Cincinnati.
Do you use environmentally friendly shipping materials?
When possible, yes. We use either cardboard boxes, or poly mailers to ship our products. The poly mailers are recyclable- just remove the postage label before dropping them off at a plastic bag depository (most grocery stores have these). All of our packing materials are made from biodegradable materials, like paper.
If you would like as environmentally sustainable shipping as possible, write it in the notes option at checkout. Only a paper receipt will be included with your order, and (slower, but less carbon dioxide producing) ground shipping will be chosen, if available
Do you buy vintage items?
Yes - but we are very limited at the moment and only purchasing a select few things. Click here for our current wish list and how to contact us.
