Hand stamped Algiz rune patches, made using poplin cotton fabric and acrylic paint. By hand stamping these patches, each one is given a unique artisanal look. Sew this piece on your favorite jean jacket, or simply use safety pins for a quick application that is easy to remove. The stamp that I used was hand carved by myself.
- No two patches will be the exact same fabric size, and could vary by approximately 1 centimeter.
This Elder Futhark rune is conventionally called Algiz (also Elhaz), from the common Germanic word for "elk". A rune of protection. Often carved into weapons before battle. The outstretched arms also convey a sense of awakening, higher life.
